The Appliance Angels
The Appliance Angels is a family run business, and we've been in the metal recycling business for 50+ years! We've watched as tens of thousands of appliances go to the dump or scrap yard each year, and decided this has to stop!
Every year over 10 million refrigerators or freezers are thrown out, and over 1 million fridges per year are dumped in unlicensed facilities, which means the Freon is not being recycled but released into our atmosphere.
Appliance Angels is striving to help the environment by recycling ONLY BROKEN appliances so that the recyclable materials go back into the manufacturing cycle to reduce the strain on natural resources and further protect the environment.
Community Involvement
So we have partnered with the Niagara Region to help provide good quality appliances with a warranty to people in need. Once they are approved for their fridge or stove we provide delivery and removal of old units.
